Westwind 201 2BD 2BA Platinum Condo in Lionshead Village

This was our 4th stay at Weswind and I wish we could have stayed longer. Besides location, location, location, the Westward Condos have it all. Pool, hot-tub, ski-locker with boot dryer, amazing views, friendly staff, clean and well apointed units. Parking is available but the garage is tight so it may take some maneuvering. The Lionshead Village is just outside with the ice rink, shops, restaurants and of course the ski lifts are all walkable. We parked and didn't drive the rest of our stay. Our only issues with this particular unit were the ice maker which made loud noises throughout the night and the location and sensitivity of the smoke detector which made cooking a bit tricky. Regardless, Westwind is our first choice for accommodations in Vail and we can't wait to come back.

The condo was nicely appointed, cozy, and perfectly located for skiing and shopping in Lionshead. (200 M or so from the Gondola with several gear rental options on the way.) The rental included a ski locker, which was so convenient. We would absolutely stay here again. Everyone was super helpful and friendly.

Great location in Lionshead for a short walk to the gondola. The condo was well-suited for my wife and me, along with two of our adult children. A king bed, two twins and two full baths worked perfectly. The fireplace was great and the view from the balcony was nice. We also used the community hot tub daily. The ski lockers are also perfectly located at ground level as you walk toward the mountain.

The condo was in a perfect location in Lionshead. We could walk to everything in Lionshead and it wasn't far from the bustop to get to Vail Village. The condo had all of the amenities you'll need and it was clean and comfortable!

Very nice unit. In very good condition. Bathrooms were very nice. Unit was very warm. Left the heat off and had to open the windows during the day while gone. Not sure if that was a systems issue or not, but not an issue. Mattress's could be replaced, but not terrible. Bath towels very small, that was the only issue we had. Would definitely rent this unit again.

We absolutely loved staying at the Vail Westwind. It was the perfect location for our family with small children. We loved our backyard being Sunbird park and the heated pool was a hit. The staff at Vail Westwind were wonderful. Great unit with everything we could have needed for the week.

The location is perfect. Just a very short walk to the Gondola (3 minutes). The unit we stayed in was on the small side, but overall was fine and clean and had everything we needed (all condos are different and lots of options if you book further in advance than we did). Staff onsite were incredibly friendly and helpful with everything.

The room was very clean and reasonably updated. The accessories/cookware in the kitchen were quite limited, and the room was hot at night despite not turning on the heat. Otherwise. the property is very close to the lifts, shops, and restaurants in the village. The covered parking was also a great amenity.

Absolutely perfect location, very clean, renovated room. We were very happy and would love to stay here again!

this was not the first time I stayed in this unit. All was great again.

Stayed with our son and six year old granddaughter. Apartment was easy walk to Lionshead ski school. Front desk staff very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
